Senior Sales Manager

Join Virtual OfficeWare as we work to continue growing our business by providing innovative health information management solutions that transform the administrative and clinical operations of ambulatory care healthcare organizations of all sizes.

The primary responsibility of the Senior Sales Manager is to sell Advanced MD, CureMD, and CareCloud solutions.  The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for driving revenue growth by prospecting, developing, and closing new business with physician practices. The ideal candidate will have a strong business and medical software sales background.  The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for meeting and exceeding the assigned quota. This position may require 30%-50% travel.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Develop an integrated sales plan and ensure coverage to reach all opportunities on a scheduled basis.
  • Identify potential situations where Virtual OfficeWare solutions and services can be sold by calling prospective clients and conducting on-site visits to generate leads.
  • Building strong relationships with area physicians and practice managers through marketing and networking efforts. Target and obtain audiences/appointments with physicians and physicians’ practices.
  • Using leads obtained through lead developing processes, contact potential clients to assess their individual needs and demonstrate how one of the Virtual OfficeWare products can meet or exceed these needs.
  • Target and obtain audiences/appointments with physicians and physicians’ practices.
  • Present one or more of the three solutions from beginning to end by conducting in-person demonstrations and utilizing a “solution selling” approach.
  • Develop and submit comprehensive pricing proposals based on the individually assessed needs of potential clients.
  • Maintain accurate up-to-date sales pipeline and maintain realistic and achievable forecasts.
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Managing multiple projects while meeting sales goals
  • Successfully negotiate contracts

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience selling practice management/revenue cycle or EMR software/solutions to office-based doctors or physician organizations or at least 5 years of experience consulting and selling solutions to medical practices/hospitals.
  • 3+ years of AdvancedMD, CareCloud, or CureMD sales experience a plus.
  • Solid mastery of the economics of medical practices and ROI delivery.
  • A successful history of achieving sales quotas of $2 million or more annually; with an average deal size of $350K or more.
  • Preferred degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • MS Office proficiency and computer literacy
  • Strong understanding of the software industry and sales processes
  • Experience in the healthcare industry, PM or EMR required.
  • Proven track record of selling and closing systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills – articulate, professional demeanor
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Dependability – daylight hours Monday-Friday
  • Ability to travel to customers, conferences, and industry events.
  • Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle insurance
